Screening for Plagiarism Policy
SEMIORA: Journal of Language, Semiotics, and Culture is committed to ensuring the originality of all submitted manuscripts. Every manuscript will be screened for plagiarism using reliable plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin or similar tools).
The journal applies the following policies:
- Manuscripts must be free from plagiarism and self-plagiarism.
- The similarity index should not exceed 25% (excluding references and properly cited quotations).
- Manuscripts with a similarity index above the threshold will be returned to the author for revision or rejected.
- Any indication of plagiarism, including improper citation, duplication, or data fabrication, will result in immediate rejection.
- Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work before submission.
The editorial team reserves the right to recheck accepted manuscripts before publication to ensure compliance with this policy.
