Author Guidelines

1. General Requirements

Manuscripts submitted to SEMIORA: Journal of Language, Semiotics, and Culture must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration in other journals. The journal accepts research articles, literature reviews, and conceptual papers.

2. Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should be arranged in the following order:

  • Title
  • Author(s) name and affiliation
  • Abstract (150–250 words)
  • Keywords (3–5 words)
  • Introduction
  • Methodology (for research articles)
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • References

3. Writing Format

  • Manuscripts should be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Use clear and academic language.
  • Length: 5,000–8,000 words.
  • Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt, 1.5 spacing.
  • Paper size: A4 with standard margins.

4. Citation and References

  • Use APA Style (7th Edition).
  • Ensure all cited works are listed in the references.
  • Use reference management tools (e.g., Mendeley, Zotero) is recommended.

5. Submission Procedure

  • Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online system (OJS).
  • Authors must register before submitting.
  • Ensure all metadata is completed correctly.

6. Peer Review Process

All manuscripts will undergo a peer-review process. The editorial board reserves the right to accept, revise, or reject the manuscript.
